Siena University Athletics announced the addition of Molly Bevan as a new assistant athletic trainer in July 2026.
“I am excited to welcome Molly to the Sports Medicine staff,” said Director of Student Athlete Performance/Head Athletic Trainer Rebecca Sanger. “She is passionate and has the drive to further build upon the foundation we have set here at Siena Athletics. The health and safety of our student athletes is our number one priority, and I believe Molly will add to our current staff to maintain that standard.”
Bevan comes to Siena after completing her Master of Athletic Training degree at Marquette University, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology.
Bevan brings significant Division I athletic training experience, most recently working with Marquette’s men’s basketball and men’s golf programs. In that role, she performed injury evaluations, developed treatment plans, assisted with rehabilitation, managed gameday operations, documented treatments, and collaborated with medical professionals, coaches, and support staff.
“Siena stood out to me because of its commitment to caring for the whole student-athlete and helping them grow both on and off the court and field,” said Bevan. “I am excited for the opportunity to make a positive impact not only within the sports medicine department but also in the lives of the student-athletes, coaches, and staff as part of the Siena community.”
Her clinical background also includes experiences with Marquette men’s lacrosse and women’s soccer, where she assisted with evaluations, taping, rehabilitation, injury documentation, and daily athletic training operations. Additionally, she gained exposure in an orthopedic clinical setting at Froedtert Drexel Clinic, assisting with patient care and observing orthopedic procedures.
Beyond athletic training, Bevan has demonstrated leadership through her involvement with Marquette’s Women’s Club Lacrosse program, where she served as team president while also coaching lacrosse and working with youth athletes in strength and conditioning settings.
