TELFORD, PA. - The Siena men's golf team continued to play well in its fall season by finishing fifth of 15 teams at the Don Mershon Classic hosted by Lehigh at the Indian Valley Country Club.
The Saints shot a 629 to finish in fifth position. George Washington fired a 606 to capture the team title. Lehigh finished second at 615 with Colgate close behind with a 616.
Jim Ohlsen (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Spa Catholic) and Luke Esposito (Fayetteville, N.Y./CBA) shot 156 to tie for 13th place. Mark Thornhill (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga) played well also, carding a 157 to tie for 19th place.
The Saints close the fall season next weekend at the Binghamton Invitational.
