Siena Men's Golf wrapped up play at the Columbia Autumn Invitational on Saturday, placing sixth in the 13-team field at the Lake Placid Club's Links Course.
The Saints carded a 7-over 291 in Saturday's final round to finish at 18-over 870 for the tournament. Siena opened the three-round event with a 296 before posting a 283 in Friday's second round and a 291 in the final round.
Michael McConie led the Saints individually, finishing tied for ninth at even-par 213 after carding a 1-under 70 in the final round. McConie finished the tournament with rounds of 74, 69, and 70.
Mick Madden followed in a tie for 15th at 2-over 215. Madden posted a 1-over 71 on Saturday after opening with rounds of 75 and 69.
Gavin Crowley finished tied for 31st at 7-over 220, recording a 2-over 73 in the final round.
KC Nickel placed tied for 43rd at 10-over 223 after shooting 77 on Saturday, while
Michael Broeker rounded out Siena's scoring lineup in 75th at 20-over 233.
Siena's
Connor Kiel and
Evan Hogg also competed as individuals. Hogg finished 52nd at 12-over 225, highlighted by a 2-over 73 in the final round, while Kiel finished tied for 47th at 11-over 224.
Columbia won the team title at 6-over 846, followed by Colgate at 851 and Cornell at 856. Dartmouth (857), Lehigh (867), and Siena (870) rounded out the top six.
Siena returns to action on Monday, October 12 at the Metropolis Intercollegiate.
