Kelly Pangburn won her second MAAC title in as many days, capturing the 1000-yard freestyle by nearly 13 seconds as the Siena women's swimming and diving team held its fourth place position through the second day of the MAAC championships in Baltimore.
Pangburn swam the 1000-yards in 10:31.25, crushing her closest competitor, Marist's Emily Heslin who finished second in 10:44.06.
Siena's 800-yard free style relay team of Olga Kandaurova, Julie Schoenlank, Christine Hunter and Pangburn turned in one oftheir best performances of the season placing third with a time of 8:14.56.
Marist leads the field after dwo days of competition having captured 572 points, followed by host Loyola with 456 points. Rider is in third with 351 points, followed by Siena (251), Fairfield (239), Niagara (225.5), Iona (178), Saint Peter's (166), Canisius (105.5), and Manhattan (64).
