LOPATCONG, N.J. - Siena met a tough field and finished well at the Lafayette Invitational held Saturday and Sunday at the Architect's Club. The Saints finished eighth of 17 teams and were just six shots out of fourth place. Siena's final score of 611 was 21 strokes behind champion Duquesne.
Jim Ohlsen led the way for the Saints by shooting a two-day score of 151, good for 17th place. Close behind were Ben Eldridge, who finished 22nd with a 152, along with Shane McMahon (154) and Luke Esposito (155).
Siena will have its final tuneup for the MAAC Tournament to be held in two weeks next weekend at the Canisius Tournament.
