Loudonville, N.Y. -- The Siena Saints men's tennis team defeated Canisius College 5-2 in a match played in Loudonville Sunday afternoon. Four Saints took home victories in the singles portion of the event and Siena swept the three doubles matches to account of r the final tally.
Seniors Brian Tierney and Brian Connor won at #3 and #5 singles in their penultimate career matches and freshmen John Michalisin and sophomore Dustin Temple defended second and sixth singles for the Green and Gold.
Other Siena wins included the doubles pairings of Tierney and frosh Brian Onofry, Michalisin and Connor and Temple and Eric Reuter. The win snapped a five-game spring losing streak for the men in their final conference match before next weekend's MAAC championships in Concord.
