Saints Suffer Road Loss

NEWARK, DE (Compliments of Delaware) - Sophomore forward Harding Nana exploded for 21 points in his Delaware debut and the Blue Hens set a single game school record for steals and tied one for blocked shots, storming past visiting Siena 85-59 in non-league men's basketball action Tuesday night at the Bob Carpenter Center.

Nana, a first-year transfer from Virginia Tech, came off the bench to hit on 6 of 9 shots from the field, including 3 of 5 from beyond the three-point line, and added 6 of 8 shooting from the foul line in just 20 minutes of action. Delaware (6-2) won for the fourth time in its last five outings as senior guard Mike Ames celebrated his 22nd birthday with 17 points, Mike Slattery added 11 points and dealt six assists, and Robin Wentt added 10 points.

Siena (3-6) got 13 points and seven rebounds off the bench from guard Darryl Gladden and 10 points and six rebounds from forward Michael Haddix.
