Siena Edged Out By Marist, 67-65

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) - Will McClurkin scored a season-high 19 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Marist to a 67-65 win over visiting Siena Thursday.

Jared Jordan grabbed a rebound with 18 seconds left in the game and fed Brandon Ellerbee for a lay-up that gave the Red Foxes a 67-63 lead.

Tommy Mitchell's basket with 1.3 seconds remaining cut the lead to two, but Siena missed a three-point try as the clock ran out to give Marist the win.

Pierre Monagan had 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Marist (1-4, 1-0 MAAC). Chris Handy and Carl Hood each added 11 points.

Siena (3-2, 0-1) hit just 3 of 14 from three-point range and shot 32.3 percent from the field in the first half.

Tommy Mitchell led the Saints with 18 points and five rebounds. Antoine Jordan added 12 points for Siena.
