Red-shirt freshman Joel Green has withdrawn from Siena College, it was announced today. Green was in his second season on the men's basketball team after red-shirting the 2003-2004 campaign last year.

"We all wish the best for Joel as he leaves Siena," head coach Rob Lanier said. "He is a quality individual with a promising future."

Green (Rosemont, Pa./Hargrave Military Academy) had appeared in nine games this season averaging 0.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 5.6 minutes per contest.
