The Siena College men's golf team took second place at the Lafayette Invitational at Center valley Golf Club in Center Valley, Pa. in their final regular-season tournament of 2004. Binghamton University captured the two day tournament championship.
The Saints shot a combined score of 605 (304,301), 19 strokes behind first-place Binghamton (586). Fordham University (610) took the third spot while the University of Connecticut (611) and Robert Morris University (611) earned a share of fourth-place to round out the tournament's top five.
Brad Myatt led the Saints with a 148 (74,74), good enough for a tie for eighth place individually. Ben Eldridge landed in the top-15 with a 151 (76,75) while the Bigley brothers, Robby and Bryan, finished in a tie for 24th, shooting a 153 each.
With the end of the regular season the Saints will now prepare for the MAAC Championships which will be held in Orlando, Fla. April 22-25.
