The Meeting was held on August 23, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., in RB308.

We have completed all the questions of the self study except for the data tables that compare Standardized test scores, average core course gpa and graduation rates. Brad Dorr, assistant registrar, and Ayisha Lovell, Director of Institutional Planning and Research have been working all summer on identifying the right cohorts in the data base so that they can extract this information from Banner. Last week Brad was confident that we have right cohorts and we should be receiving this information shortly.

Once this information has been gathered and trends identified, we will be in a position to answer the questions beginning on page 28 of the self study instrument. The committee will study the self study review the academic standards portion of the self study and formulate answers to the questions on page 28 and 29 prior to our next meeting. The goal will be to review the self study material on academic standards for content, spelling, grammar, answer the questions based on the self study material and formulate recommendations to make the athletic program stronger and easier to manage.
