Final Stats
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Siena College men's soccer team was defeated at the University at Buffalo by a score of 3-0 this afternoon at Demske Sports Complex. Junior goalkeeper Patrick Henry (LaGrangeville, N.Y.) made six saves in net for the Saints.
Buffalo scored the first two goals in the first half as Erik Jaanimagi received a pass from teammate Dan Gwyther at 63:57. Nine minutes later, at the 72:22 mark, the Bulls found their way back on the scoreboard with a header from sophomore Shyle Braithwaite off a double assist. Jeffery Chivers would add a third goal early in the second half to round out the scoring.
The Saints was outshot by the Bulls 20-3, and were kept out of the net after scoring three goals in their previous game vs. Oneonta. Caio Silva, Austin Asadorian and Ross Cardinell each had one shot on goal.
Buffalo drew more corner kicks than Siena (7-3), and allowed more shots on goal (11-3) in suffering the loss. The win was the fourth for the Bulls.
Siena men's soccer returns to action Friday, Sept. 16 as it travels to Fordham for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
