ITHACA, N.Y. - The Siena Saints men's golf team finished the three-day Cornell Invitational in seventh place Sunday, shooting a combined score of 906. Senior Bryan Bigley (Rotterdam, N.Y./Schalmont) finished 11th overall after firing a team-low combined score of 223. Bigley shot a two-under-par 70 in today's final round of action.
Capturing the invitational crown was Rider University with a combined score of 886. Claiming the individual title was Rider's Tyler Brewington, who finished with a one-under-par 215.
Siena's Allen Parker (Blandford, Mass./Gateway Regional) finished tied for 19th place, followed by Dan Abbondandolo (Oyster Bay Cove, N.Y./Saint Dominic) who shot a two-over-par 74 in the final round, finishing with a total of 231. Senior Dennis Gosier (Gansevoort, N.Y./Saratoga) tied for 40th with a 233, while senior Alex Arrigo (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) placed tied for 53rd with a 239.
The Saints travel to Telford, Pa. on Sunday for the two-day Lehigh Invitational.
