LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Junior Megan Dobbins (Huntington, Conn./Lauralton Hall Academy) laid claim to two first-place victories but failed to give the Saints enough points they needed to knock off the Vermont Catamounts, as Siena fell by a count of 126-94 at Siena Swim Center in Loudonville Saturday afternoon.
In the 500 freestyle event, freshman Allison O'Keefe (Southington, Conn. /Saint Paul Catholic) paced the pool with a time of 5:42.04, capturing first place on behalf of the Saints, while the duo of Dobbins and senior Ashley Serrago (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge) both clocked in a time of :25.53, placing first in the 50 free.
The 100 Free saw Vermont's Colleen Clark set a pool record with a time of :53.60 as she placed first in the event.
The Siena Swimming and Diving team are back in action next Saturday at New Hampshire with a 1 p.m. start.
