Final Stats
Colorado Springs, Colo.- The men's lacrosse team (0-4) came up on the short end of a second half Air Force surge, losing 12-8. The Saints led 4-2 after one quarter and were tied, 7-7, going into halftime.
Junior Matt Donovan led Siena with four points in the loss. He was tied for a game-high with three assists and also notched a goal this afternoon.
Matt Girsh, Michael Aylward and Matt Walsh fire home two goals apiece to lead the team. Girsh and Walsh each setup a goal with their passing bringing their total to three points on the game.
Freshman Chris Zarins chipped in with a goal and assist.
Kevin Hogan won 3-of-4 face-offs he was involved in. Siena held the edge in face-offs won 13-23 compared to 10-23.
The Saints were 1-of-4 in extra man opportunities in the game.
Siena is back in action this Saturday, March 18, as they travel to Maryland as they take on Mount Saint Mary with face-off slated for 2 p.m.
