DAYTON, OH - The Siena College men's golf team wrapped up play in a two-tie for fourth place with Wisconsin-Green Bay at the University of Dayton Spring Invitational at Shaker Run Golf Club this afternoon. Junior Bryan Bigley fired an 83 in the final round, to lead the Saints five man roster in the field of 65 golfers.
Bigley's three-round total of 233 (76-74-83) was good for a tie for 10th overall. He finished two strokes ahead of teammate Alex Arrigo, who was tied for 21st overall with a 236 (78-78-80). Despite a final round 77, Dennis Gosier finished third on the team with 237 (83-77-77) for the invitational putting him in 23rd overall.
Senior Robby Bigley who led in the first two rounds, carded an 89 in the final round, falling to 28th place. Junior Allen Parker rounded out the Saints line-up, firing a 79 in the final round to finish 45th
Cleveland State University held on to claim the title combining for a team total of 905. St. Bonaventure's Josh Anderson won individual honors, after carding 222 (73-75-74)
The Saints will are now gearing up for the MAAC Championships April 28-30 in Orlando, Fla.
