On AUGUST 24, 2006, Dr. Gino Turchi will turn the Big 90! To celebrate his birthday and friendship, Siena College has planned a 90th BIRTHDAY OPEN HOUSE on SUNDAY, AUGUST 27th. Stop by campus (the tent in front of the Marcelle Athletic Complex) anytime between 1 pm and 6 pm to have a burger, enjoy a cold beverage, and wish Gino a happy 90th!

Since the Siena College Athletic Department's announcement of Gino's 90th Birthday Open House at a Basketball Game earlier this year, the College has received a number of inquiries whether gifts could be sent to Siena in his name.

If, in addition to attending the Open House, you wish to make a donation in honor of Gino's 90th, you may mail a check payable to Siena College to "Gino's 90th Birthday," Siena College Athletics, 515 Loudon Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211.

Throughout the years, Gino and Willie have developed special relationships with many Siena students, especially our student athletes. The Turchi's recognize that an affordable education is a major concern among these young students. It is their wish to provide students (who may otherwise not have the opportunity to attend college and participate in athletic competition) an opportunity to do so. Gino and Willie's legacy will be the Turchi Family Athletic Fund at Siena College.
