Amherst, Mass. - The Saints earn their first win of the season over Holy Cross 2-1 at the UMass Invitational on Sunday. The Saints mounted their come back in the second half. Senior Delmiro Fernandez (Wappingers Falls, N.Y./Roy C. Senior Michael Battiste (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) was credited for the assist on the play.
The match proved to be physical as both teams recorded 15 fouls and two yellow cards. All four yellow cards and 17 fouls were delivered in the second half.
