The Siena Athletics TV Show Saints Alive! is set to air on Time Warner Cable Channel 3 throughout the Capital Region at 6:30 p.m. tonight through Thursday. The facilities themed show is hosted by the voice of Siena women's basketball Mike Demos.
This marks the fifth straight year Saints Alive! has appeared on Time Warner Cable. Three years ago, the show was expanded from a basketball coaches' show to include fall and spring programming highlighting all of Siena's student-athletes and the latest department initiatives.
This fall's show includes: a discussion with Siena's Student Athlete Advisory Committee, a profile of the new artificial turf field, an interview with head baseball coach Tony Rossi who discusses enhancements made to the College's baseball facility, an interview with new College President Fr. Kevin Mullen, OFM, a conversation with freshman volleyball twins Aubrey and Brianne Bobo and a brief interview with head basketball coaches Fran McCaffery and Gina Castelli.
The show will next air in December, as it switches back to its basketball format. It will then air weekly from early January through the end of the basketball season. Shortly, fans will be able to watch the shows on-line at SienaSaints.com as part of the All-Access package.
