LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Katelyn Dooley (Troy, N.Y.) was named athletic marketing/ticket manager at Siena College in May. She served as the interim marketing manager since January.
At Siena, Dooley is responsible to market and promote Siena Athletics to both internal and external constituents with an emphasis on basketball. Additionally Dooley serves as the liaison with the Times Union Center Box Office to include coordination of season ticket renewals.
"We are happy to have Kate back at Siena," said athletic director John D'Argenio. "Having been a student-athlete she understands the values of marketing our teams so as to attract people to the games."
Dooley's professional experience prior to Siena College included work in sales & marketing for W.B. Mason, a national office supply company based in Boston.
Dooley '07 started 93 games in 114 appearances during her four-year career. Dooley is tenth on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,111 points since Siena joined the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in 1989. She is fourth in free throw percentage (84%) and sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (34%).
Dooley was selected to the 2003-04 MAAC Rookie Team. That season, the Saints won the MAAC Regular-Season Title and earned a trip to the WNIT.
