LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Steve Sansonese has been named athletic facility manager at Siena College effective immediately. His responsibilities include game day management, student management, facility management, field preparation and Marcelle Athletic Complex membership coordination. Sansonese arrives from Canisius where he served as a graduate assistant in Canisius' athletic facilities department for the past nine months. He is working toward his master's degree in sports administration.

As a graduate assistant in the athletic facilities department, Sansonese managed and supervised all aspects of the athletic facilities at Canisius. He was responsible for maintaining the facilities and coordinated with the athletic department for scheduled games and practices.

Sansonese earned his bachelor's degree in education and human services from Canisius in 2008. During his undergraduate studies, he worked in the athletic facilities department.
