Final Stats
The Siena men's tennis team dropped a difficult 4-3 decision at home to Fordham on Sunday. The Saints took the doubles point and held the top two singles, but three players lost three set matches.
Freshmen Michael Amico and Dylan Roberts won in straight sets at the top two singles spots for the Saints. Amico teamed with Jarrett Siwiec in an 8-2 win at top doubles and Kevin Gioia and Vik Kabada won second doubles to secure the point.
Fordham won the match with three tight singles wins. Kevin Malone topped Siwiec 6-4, 2-6 and 10-6 at third singles, Alex DeRienzo defeated Jay Godbole 6-1, 4-6 and 10-8 at fifth singles and John Thornhill outlasted Nik Godbole 6-4, 4-6 and 10-4.
