The Siena swimming and diving team pulled off a 120-84 victory over C.W. Post Saturday night at the Pratt Recreation Center in Brookville, N.Y. Junior Brittany Pavolko won a meet-high three of the seven events that the Saints captured on their way to moving above the .500 mark for the first time this season.
Overall, Siena (3-2) tallied seven wins in 11 events over the Pioneers (2-1) which were dealt their first loss of the season.
Pavolko notched individual triumphs in the 200 free (2:01.32) and 100 fly (:59.73). Additionally, she teamed with Britney Anderer, Kaela Bjornberg and Katie Ness to pace the pool in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:50.78.
Ness, Anderer and Molly Chamberlain also won two events apiece on the evening. Ness won the 50 free (:25.02) and Anderer took the 100 breast (1:08.33). Anderer has now won all four 100 breast competitions in which she has competed this season.
Chamberlain meanwhile took the top time in the 500 free, which at 5:14.29 was the second fastest in school history. She also combined with Meaghan Brauer, MaryAnn Gaffuri and Caitlyn Biagioli to capture the 200 free relay (1:41.60).
The Saints get a quick respite before returning to action Saturday at 1 in a MAAC tri-meet against Manhattan and Fairfield in Riverdale, N.Y.
