Siena lost a 6-1 decision to #64 Stetson at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center on Monday. Three Hatters earned wins in singles and doubles while freshman Dane Moran (Morpeth, Australia) picked up a singles victory in his first career appearance. Siena's Peter Orr won a 7-5 nad 6-4 decision at #6 singles.
The win was #299 of Stetson Head Coach Pierre Pilote's career.
Senior Jeremy Deuel lost a hard fought 3-6, 6-0 and 1-0 decision at top singles and Stefan Putyera put up a good fight in a 6-4, 6-4 loss at #5 singles.
Orr's win came over Chris Hyma at #6 singles.
The Saints conclude their spring trip Tuesday at Bethune-Cookman.
