LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena men's basketball senior co-captain Josh Duell and 2007 NCAA Most Outstanding Referee John Cahill '74 will be featured speakers at the Lansingburgh Boys & Girls Club President's Dinner on May 28. The duo will speak on their experiences and the affects that youth organizations like the Lansingburgh Boys & Girls Club have had on their accomplishments.
Duell recently completed a stellar collegiate playing career which concluded with two seasons guiding the Siena College men's basketball team to back-to-back MAAC Championships and a pair of NCAA Tournament First Round victories. Also a Siena graduate, Cahill has gone on to perennially be one of the top officials in NCAA Division I Men's Basketball.
The event, which is held annually, is open to the public with all proceeds benefitting the club's Endowment Fund. The cost to attend is $60 per person or $400 for a table of eight.
The event will be held on May 28 at the club with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the official dinner and program set to start at 7 p.m.
