Siena Places 85 Student-Athletes on MAAC Honor Roll

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena placed 85 student-athletes on the 2008-09 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Honor Roll as announced by the league office Tuesday morning. To be eligible, a student-athlete must hold a grade point average of 3.20 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and be in his/her second year of athletic eligibility.

A total of 990 student-athletes made the Honor Roll from the 10 member institutions and seven associate members spanning all 24 MAAC sports.

Men's cross country led all Siena sports with 10 selections. Women's cross country placed second with nine honorees while women's soccer and women's swimming and diving each had eight.
