Alex Franklin led four Saints in double figures with 23 points as Siena topped Manhattan 83-68 Monday night at Times Union Center. The win marked Head Coach Fran McCaffery's 100th at Siena and ran the nation's second longest homecourt win streak to 31 games.

It was also Siena's (15-4, 8-0) ninth win in a row overall, marking the program's longest win streak since the 1999-00 season.

Siena, playing without leading scorer Edwin Ubiles (sore back) got off to a slow start in the first half as the Jaspers (7-11, 2-6) connected on eight of their first 12 shots to build an early 18-10 lead at the 14:15 mark.

The Saints responded with a 10-0 run to turn a 27-24 deficit into a 34-27 lead. Siena never trailed again and led 39-31 at the break.

Manhattan never get closer than the halftime margin in the final stanza as the Saints shot 60% (18-for-30) from the field in the second half and led by as many as 23. The sharpshooting Saints shot 55.4% from the field for the game, their second best total of the season trailing only their 65.2% performance in a season-opening win over Tennessee State.

Franklin made 9-of-13 shots, while Ryan Rossiter (19), Kyle Downey (16) and Clarence Jackson (15) joined him in double figures. Rossiter added 14 rebounds to round out his ninth double-double of the season, while Downey made six out of nine shots in setting a new career-high.

McCaffery became just the fourth Siena coach to go over the century mark in victories with the program. Only Mike Deane (144 games), reached the 100-win milestone faster than did McCaffery (149).

Manhattan's Rico Pickett scored 26 points while Antoine Pearson added 10 off the bench. Pickett sunk 5-for-8 from three helping the Jaspers connect on 9-for-18 overall.

The Saints return to Times Union Center Thursday when they host Loyola. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
