LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena hosts Manhattan in its final home game of the regular season Friday evening at 7 p.m. Siena's five seniors - Merrick Volpe, Sarah Fullmer, Sara Parnell, Allie Lindemann and Charlieann Chacon - will be honored in a pre-game ceremony.
The Saints (8-15, 6-8) lost to Manhattan (13-12, 8-6) 74-53 on February 5 in Riverdale, N.Y. Siena started the game 1-for-8 from the field and had nine turnovers in the first 12 minutes, allowing Manhattan to sprint out to a 22-2 lead.
Cristina Centeno energized the Saints at the end of the first half, scoring eight points and grabbing two rebounds in the last five minutes. She took control at the point and drove with power to the rim.
Siena leads the all-time series 30-17. Serena Moore - who leads the team in scoring (13.4), rebounding (7.9) and field goal percentage (46.2%) - shoots 59.1% from the field against Manhattan in her career.
Lindemann leads Siena with 14 ppg against the Jaspers.
