Justin Deitz shot a pair of sub-80 rounds leading the Siena men's golf team to a 13th place finish at the Navy Spring Invitational in Annapolis, Md. Deitz shot rounds of 76 and 79 to place tied for 36th overall.

Host Navy (592) won the event by four strokes over Bucknell (596). The Saints (635) placed second of the four MAAC teams in the field, trailing only Iona (620) which placed eighth.

In what was a challenging course all weekend long, no individual shot under-par for the 36-hole tournament. The Midshipmen's Ben Hayes won the individual title with an ever par cumulative score of 142.

David Gushee and Jeff Smith also broke 80 on the final day, tying Deitz for team best rounds of 79.

The Saints get their final tuneup before the MAAC Championships next weekend in Portsmouth, R.I. for the Northeast Invitational.
