Siena started the match with a surprising victory in doubles play to take a 1-0 lead, but the Peacocks fought back to sweep the singles competition on their way to a 6-1 MAAC Tournament victory over Siena Friday at the USTA Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows.

The Saints won the doubles points by taking the top doubles match and third doubles match 8-4. Freshman Michael Amico teamed with Jarrett Siwiec for an 8-4 win over Alex and Chris Frakes at #1 doubles and Vik Kabada paired with Rob Cooperman in an 8-4 Siena win at #3 doubles.

In singles play, Amico dropped a close decision at top singles, succumbing to Sergey Igel 7-6 (10-4) and 6-4. Dylan Roberts played a strong match at #3 singles, forcing a third set before losing to Robert Forai 6-2, 3-6 and 6-2.

The Saints finish the 2009-10 season with a 3-15 overall record.
