Final Stats
Sophomore attackman Ryan Duggan scored his second goal of the game with 41 seconds left in regulation to force overtime at Binghamton in a non-conference lacrosse game Wednesday afternoon. Senior goalie Brent Herbst made two of his season-high 16 saves in the first overtime period to force a second, but Tyler Perelle scored the game winner midway through the second overtime and gave the Bearcats a 9-8 victory.
The loss snaps Siena's four-game win streak.
Sophomore Bryan Neufeld led the Saints (5-4) with four points on one goal and three assists.
Herbst's 16 saves matched a career-high.
Binghamton (3-7) outshot Siena 36-31 but held a decided advantage in ground balls (29-19) and on face-offs (14-of-21). Senior Bryan Hale won 6-of-12 draws for Siena.
The Saints return to action on Saturday when they face Wagner in a neutral site game at Allen Park in Farmingdale, N.Y. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
