Siena women's golf returned from the Rutgers Invitational in fine form, topping crosstown rival UAlbany 325-349 Sunday afternoon. The Saints were led by freshman Katie Nelson, whose 76 paced the Green and Gold.
The first-year Saint's plus-three round included four birdies, and was low score on the team by four shots. Teammates Cortney Tilley and Mary Fletcher both posted scores of 80, helping to lead the Saints to a 24-shot victory.
Siena returns to the course this Saturday at the Lehigh Invitational, which is the final event of the team's fall season.
