Round One Scores

David Gushee led Siena in the first round of the Navy Spring Invitational Saturday with a 78, tying him for 25th. As a team, Siena is 15th with 18 holes to go.

Gushee rebounded from a front-nine 41 with a solid 37 on the back, and was the only Siena competitor to break 80 during a first round contested in harsh scoring conditions. In fact, no player on any team posted an under-par total, and Gushee sits just five shots off the lead, which is currently held by Columbia's Clark Granum and Drexel's James Braunsberg.

Play resumes Sunday morning in Annapolis.
