The annual Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza at Empire State Plaza had a new attraction this year: the MVP Health Care Siena Saints Mobile Experience. It was the first of at least 12 appearances this summer for the athletic department's newest attraction: an interactive display that features a pop-a-shot basketball game, video games, satellite television, highlights of Siena basketball, informative brochures and giveaways.

The Mobile Experience is designed to keep fans connected to Siena Basketball throughout the year.

"We are always looking for way to bring the Siena brand out into the community and the MVP Health Care Siena Saints Mobile Experience does that," Siena College Athletic Director John D'Argenio said. "This interactive unit will allow us to reach our fans base during the summer months while enhancing the events that we attend with our fan friendly activities."

MVP Health Care has signed on as the title sponsor for the Mobile Experience.

"We are a strong supporter of Siena College athletics, so partnering to bring the Saints Mobile Experience to these community events was an easy decision," said Ian Warda, Field Marketing Manager with MVP Health Care. "We're always looking for ways to encourage families to get out with their kids and enjoy outdoor activities in the Capital Region, so the Siena Saints Mobile Experience is a natural fit for us. It's going to be a lot of fun!" MVP Health Care recently launched their MVP Generation Go program which encourages healthy activity amongst kids and families through youth sports clinics, community event support, in-school education, and social media.

GE's Kids Day at the Plaza (July 17, 12-5 p.m., Empire State Plaza)
College Day - Saratoga (July 29, 12-6 p.m., Saratoga Race Course)
Tri City Valley Cats (August 14, 6-10 p.m., Joe Bruno Stadium)
Food Festival at the Plaza (August 17, 11-3 p.m., Empire State Plaza)
Washington County Fair (August 27, 12-9 p.m., Greenwich)
Hannaford's Halloween in The August (August 31, 12-6 p.m., Saratoga Race Course)
Riverfront Jazz Festival (September 10, 12;30-8 p.m.)
Sunkiss Balloon Festival (Sept. 11, 6:30 a.m.- 7 p.m., Kingswood Golf Course)
