Celebrate the inaugural Siena Day with the Tri-City ValleyCats THIS SUNDAY at 5 p.m. at Joe Bruno Stadium. The ValleyCats will be hosting the Hudson Valley Renegades, and there will be a fireworks display after the game.

The first 100 Siena fans who report to the MVP Health Care Siena Saints Mobile Experience at the game wearing Green and Gold will receive a giveaway. Come check out our interactive display that features a pop-a-shot basketball game, video games, satellite television, highlights of Siena basketball, informative brochures and a chance to win Siena prizes.

Siena T-Shirts and other giveaways will be thrown into the crowd during between-inning promotions.

Additionally, rising senior Katie Carew will throw out the first pitch at the second game of TONIGHT's (Friday's) ValleyCats doubleheader (appx. 7 p.m.). Katie is a member of Siena's swimming and diving team, and serves as president of the College's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and is one of just 31 representatives on the NCAA's Division I National Committee. An aspiring industrial psychologist, Katie was nominated by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's for the NCAA Sportsman of the Year Award for her leadership efforts on the Siena campus and throughout the Capital Region community. She serves on the NCAA's national recruiting cabinet, and will be attending tonight's game with members of Siena's SAAC who are on campus for a weekend retreat to plan their agenda for the upcoming academic year.
