Despite the inspiration of Senior Day in the air Saturday at the Siena Swim Center, the Saints could not send the program's class of 2012 out with a win. Instead, the Green and Gold dropped a 175-78 decision to Saint Francis (Pa.), and finished their fifth straight winning season with a 9-7 record.

The Saints were shut out on the day, and did not win a single event. Junior Kaela Bjornberg led the way for the Saints, finishing second in four different events. Freshman Shannon Love also notched a top-two, finishing second in the 50 free.

The Red Flash, meanwhile, made the most of their time in Loudonville, setting a new pool record in the meet-opening 400 medley relay (4:00.96). This was the second win over Siena in as many seasons for the Red Flash, who defeated the Saints 140-114 in last year's meeting.

The class of 2012 finishes their final regular season tied with the class of 2011 as the winningest class in Siena swimming and diving history, with 34 victories. They'll look to go out with a bang at next month's MAAC Championships, which will take place starting on February 16 in Buffalo, N.Y.
