A day after Siena's second straight MAAC win, the Saints were hard at work, only this time, it was for a cause greater than themselves.

The Siena Saints visited the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York Monday morning, where they spent time sorting and repackaging products for charity and the area's less fortunate. The trip is an annual one, and is part of a longstanding relationship between the Food Bank and Siena College.

As part of that relationship, the Food Bank held its annual food drive on January 6 at the Times Union Center during Siena's game against Fairfield. While the Saints stepped up on the court and came out with a win, Siena's fans stepped up off it, contributing 356 pounds of food and $1,050 through a special raffle.

You can check out photos and video of Siena's appearance at the Food Bank above. For more on the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and information on how you can donate, visit their website here.
