Win This Diamond Engagement Ring at Manhattan Game

Feb. 1, 2012

This Valentines' Day will never be forgotten for one area couple. Three lucky fans will have the opportunity to compete for a $6K diamond ring at halftime of the Saints' game against Manhattan, courtesy Northeastern Fine Jewelry.

Here's How You Can Enter:

- Tell us in 200 words or fewer why you (or your boyfriend/girlfriend) should be chosen to "dig."

- Email your entry along with a photo of you and your loved one to jrich@siena.edu by Monday, February 6 at 5 p.m.

- You cannot already be engaged -- or married. You must be in a committed relationship, and considering engagement

- You must be able to attend the Feb. 14 game (tickets will be provided to the "digger.")

We will narrow the entries down to three finalists, and fans will vote at SienaSaints.com from Tuesday, February 7 - Thursday, February 9 to determine the contestant.

The contestant will participate alongside two other finalists in a "Diamond Dig" that will be held at halftime of the Manhattan game on Valentine's Day, "digging" in a giant barrel filled with rice to find/win a $6,000 engagement ring. The ring is a .70 carat round, brilliant-cut diamond with a Scott Kay palladium mounting with .38 carat side diamonds.

One of the other "diggers" will be chosen from Kristi Gustafson Barlette's On the Edge Times Union blog, and the third from an NEFJ contest. One person will walk away with the ring -- and the other two diggers will get $100 gift certificates to NEFJ.
