Siena College celebrated the school's finest student athletes Monday at the annual 4.0 Club Luncheon. 19 student athletes were honored for recording perfect grade-point averages in either the Spring 2011 or Fall 2011 semesters while also spending large chunks of their time as members of one of Siena's 18 Division I athletic squads.
"This is a great time for us to get together and celebrate the academic accomplishments of a number of our student athletes," said Siena president Fr. Kevin Mullen. "I think this speaks highly of our coaches, our recruitment, and the type of student that's attracted to Siena."
The luncheon was held at 33 Fiddlers Lane on the Siena College campus, and also celebrated the dedication of various coaches and advisors to the academic process. For more information on the 4.0 Club and its honorees, visit the new 4.0 Club website at the link above.
