LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena Basketball freshman guard Evan Hymes added another honor to an already star-studded rookie season. The Saints' floor general has been named to the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Freshman All-American Team.

Hymes was one of just 25 freshmen named to the team and one of only three MAAC players joining Marist's Chavaughn Lewis and Niagara's Juan'ya Green. Following the season, Hymes was also named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team.

A four-time MAAC Rookie of the Week - the most of any of the conference's freshmen - Hymes finished second on the team in scoring averaging 13.4 points and ranked fourth in the MAAC averaging 3.7 assists. Hymes, who started 28 of 31 games, sunk 61 threes shooting 36.1% from beyond the arc.
