Hartford Invitational Results 
Siena women's golf couldn't be going into the 2012 MAAC Championships off a better result. The Green and Gold trounced the field in the Hartford Invitational, winning the team title by 19 shots while three Saints finished second, third, and fourth individually.
Freshman Victoria Nguyen continued a stellar month of play by holding on to second place, signing for a second-round 77. She finished four shots behind medalist Krystina Paulickova of Boston University, but she was far from the only Siena player near the top of the leaderboard.
Classmate Mary Fletcher finished in third after shooting a 78, while sophomore Kylie Strijek finished fourth after a second-round 79. Additionally, reigning MAAC Women's Golfer of the Month Cortney Tilley finished tied for eighth, giving the Green and Gold four golfers in the tournament's top 10.
As a team, Siena finished the 36-hole tournament with a score of 620. BU finished second at the six-team event, while Monmouth University finished third.
The Saints will now look to bring home the program's 12th consecutive conference championship. The 2012 MAAC Championships begin on April 27 in Orlando, Fla.
