Men's Tennis Dominates Rider

The Siena men's tennis team didn't drop a set in disposing of MAAC rival Rider 7-0 Saturday in a match moved indoor due to rain. Dylan Roberts set the tone with a 6-1 and 6-0 victory at top singles for the Saints.

Joining Roberts with straight set singles wins were: Ryan Schmitz, Michael Amico, Alex Burbine, George Parkhurst and Eric Sumanaru.

Schmitz teamed with Matthew Funiciello for an 8-4 win at top doubles, Amico and Burbine won 8-2 at No. 2 doubles and Roberts and Darren Reich completed the sweep with an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles.

The Saints are back at it tomorrow. They host Hofstra at noon at Siena Courts.
