Results 
Siena swimming traveled to Holy Cross on Wednesday evening for a 16-event match with the Crusaders. The Saints tied Holy Cross 147-147, winning seven events. The sophomore transfer, Dory Miller and junior Amanda York led the way for the Saints, each winning two individual events.
"There were many exciting races throughout the meet and the team was very supportive of one another," said Paul Kueterman. "We still have some work to do but the team is headed in the right direction." Dory Miller put together a successful day, winning two events and placing second in another. Miller won the 200-yard IM in 2:18.18. She also led the Saints to sweep in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing first in 2:15.69. Emily Carideo finished the 200-yard backstroke behind Miller in 2:15.95 and the Saints' Katherine Canavan completed the trifecta for the Saints, finishing third in 2:17.01. Miller competed in the 100 yard backstroke and finished runner up in 1:04.49 behind teammate Canavan (1:03.46).
Amanda York earned two victories for the Saints. York finished first in the 200-yard fly in 2:14.75 and won again in the 100-yard fly in 1:01.62. Emily Carideo would compliment York, finishing second behind York in both the 100-yard and 200-yard fly events.
Jacque Medina started the Saints off in the right direction, earning the first win of the match for Siena. Medina won the 200-yard free in 1:59.83.
Sophomore Lauren Daly rounds out the seven Saints victories with her first place finish in the 100-yard breast event, finishing in 1:12.03.
The Saints survived the midweek road match at Holy Cross and will prepare for their next meet against Vermont in Burlington, Vt. On Saturday, November 2. The meet starts at 2:00 p.m.
