Having already defeated Fairleigh Dickinson and Sacred Heart, the Saints (3-2) look to complete the season series sweep of Northeast Conference foes. A win tonight would match the Saints best start since going 4-2 to open the 2002-03 season.

Coming off the program's first winning November in 13 years, the Saints have been sparked by an efficient pressure defense and balanced scoring attack on the offensive end.

Defensively, Siena leads the MAAC in scoring defense (60.6), field goal percentage defense (37.9%), turnovers forced (24.4) and steals (11.8 - 23rd nationally). In their most recent win over Sacred Heart, the Saints forced 30 turnovers on the strength of 21 steals - the sixth highest total in MAAC history.

On the offensive side of the ball, no Saint is averaging double figures, but seven players are averaging between 5.3 and 9.7 points per game. Over the first five games, four different Saints have led the team in scoring and rebounding. Seven players have already reached double figures at least once and 11 players are averaging double digit minutes with none averaging more than 27 minutes per game.

Coming off a 16-14 season and 10-8 mark in the NEC a season ago, Central Connecticut (3-3) returns three starters and 11 letterwinners and was projected to finish fifth in the Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Blue Devils have been a tough out at home, having won 15 of their past 18 games here at Detrick Gymnasium.

The programs meet for the sixth time with Siena holding a 3-2 advantage. CCSU has won the past two meetings, including a 51-47 decision here in New Britain two years ago.
