Final Stats

Barry University, ranked 4th in the latest ITA Division II poll, downed Siena 9-0 in a non-league match contested Tuesday at the Buccaneer Tennis Center in Miami Shores, Fla. Fabian Groetsch, the 16th ranked player in Division II, won a hard-fought 7-6 (7-4) and 6-0 decision over Ryan Schmitz at top singles.

Barry won all six singled matches without dropping a set and dominated doubles play. Division II scoring was used, so each doubles match was counted.

The Saints return to action Wednesday when they face Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton.
