On the men's side, Siena finished play with a seventh place showing, ten strokes behind sixth.

Jess Esposito went into the locker room in 11^th after shooting a three-over-par. Esposito shot 14 par putts and a birdie in the afternoon.

John Van Vranken was the next finisher for the Saints with an eight-over-par which was good for 28^th.

Iona College was the only team to break par in round one finishing with a -1. The Gaels also have the top individual golfer with Dylan Newman at -4.
