Round two of the Connecticut Cup resumed early Tuesday morning, after it was suspended due to darkness Monday night. The Saints finished the second round in sixth place, but finished the Cup tied for ninth after the end of round three. Michael Christifulli lead the way for the Saints finishing tied for 14th.

Christifulli was able to lower his score each round as he rose from 24th to 14th between the second and third rounds. He shot the second lowest score of the third round at one under par. Michael Shine finished the Cup five shots back of Christifulli, after sinking the most birdies of round two with five. Spencer Sautin rounded out the top three for the Saints finishing tied for 42nd after shooting the second lowest score on par fives for the third round.

The Saints slid three spots to finish the tournament tied with fellow MAAC member Fairfield, whom they trailed after the end of round one. Hartford led all MAAC competing schools finishing second, and three strokes behind host UCONN.

The Saints wrap up their fall schedule this weekend as they travel to Upper Saucon, Pa. to compete in the Lehigh Invitational.
