Siena Men's Golf sits in third place after round one of the Lehigh Invitational. Senior Louis Walsh leads the squad ending the round tied for fourth.
The Saints placed three golfers in the top twenty, helping them stay high in the field. Michael Shine ended the round tied for 10th, while Spencer Sautin finished tied for 19th. Walsh is within three strokes of John Hulede who leads all golfers after round one.
The Saints are four strokes back of second place Lafayette, while Towson sits in first with a nine-stroke lead. Siena is the lead MAAC school participating as Manhattan and Monmouth finished the day ninth and 12th, respectively.
The Saints will look to move in one of those top two spots tomorrow, with Sunday tee times beginning at 9:30 am. The Saints finished fourth last year in the Invitational, moving up three spots after shooting the best score of the Invitational in the second round.
