Siena Swimming and Diving lost their meet at Assumption College 162-100. Four different Saints won events on the night.
Megan Grace followed up her strong showing against Holy Cross by taking the 1000 and 500 Free against Assumption as well. Freshman Erica Askew won the 200 breast for the second meet in a row swimming a 2:33.13.
Amanda York won the 200 fly with a time of 2:16.99 after winning the same event against Holy Cross. Emily Carideo rounded out the Saints that won events Friday, winning the 400 IM with a time of 4:48.11.
Siena's best relay finish came in the 200 freestyle, when the team of York, Colleen McDonough, Amanda Podczerwinski and Shannon Love finished second with a time of 1:45.32. Podczerwinski, Askew, York and Love finished third in the 400-medley relay swimming a 4:16.20.
"Unfortunately we didn't get the win tonight," said head coach Paul Kueterman, "however we definitely are making some very good progress in our racing, which will set us up for November and then the ECAC winter championships in December."
The Saints return home Saturday, November 1st to take on Vermont at 2 pm.
