The Moment
Oct. 15 - Junior striker Cassy Landis scored one of the most unbelievable goals in program history, giving women's soccer a key 1-0 overtime road win at Canisius. Just 49 seconds into the extra session, junior Michelle Yanniello crossed a pass from the right to Landis who bicycle kicked home the golden goal.
Why We Loved It
The win ran the Saints' unbeaten streak to six matches (3-0-3) as they took a big step closer towards clinching a MAAC Tournament berth. Ultimately, the Saints went unbeaten in 12 of 14 matches to end the regular season and clinch the No. 5 seed in the MAAC Championships.
Behind the Scenes
The match marked the third of five straight overtime matches for the Saints. Siena played in a program record eight overtime matches during the 2014 season, posting a 1-1-6 mark in such contests.
